Frequently asked questions

How will the new free-to-start pricing work?

Totle will include four complete activities at no charge: Letter Matching, Beginning Sounds, Number Recognition, and Counting Objects. The free experience also includes one child profile, local progress, and a preview of Totle’s audio and feedback. A parent-gated, $6.99 Full Family Unlock opens all 20 activities, all three levels, detailed progress, multiple profiles, and the complete reward system with all scenes, coins, and 60 collectible stickers. It is a one-time purchase per app, with no subscription. Totle is currently a paid download while its free-to-start update is prepared.

Where can I get help with billing or a refund?

Apple processes App Store purchases and refunds. Visit Apple Billing Support for transaction help, or email hello@pbandj.dev with app questions.

Can I restore the Full Family Unlock?

Yes. The unlock is planned as a non-consumable App Store purchase with a Restore Purchases option in the parent area. Family Sharing will be available where applicable, and existing Totle paid-app purchasers will keep full access after the free-to-start update.

How do I create a profile for my child?

Totle’s free experience includes one child profile with local progress. The Full Family Unlock adds multiple child profiles, each with separate progress.

Is my child’s data safe?

Yes. All profile and progress data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. We do not collect personal information from children. See our Privacy Policy for details.

What age is Totle designed for?

Totle is designed for children ages 4–7, covering pre-kindergarten through early elementary skills in reading and math.

What is Plat and how is it different from Totle?

Plat is the next step after Totle. It offers 10 reading and 10 math activities at a slightly more advanced level for kids who have mastered the basics in Totle. Plat is planned for September 2026.

How do I track my child’s progress?

The free experience saves local progress for one child. The Full Family Unlock adds detailed activity and skill progress in the Parent Dashboard, along with mastery and reward information.

How do I delete my child’s profile?

In the Parent Dashboard, select the child’s profile and choose “Delete Profile.” This removes the associated progress data from your device.

Does Totle require an internet connection?

No. Totle works offline, and its learning activities are included in the app download.
